This 57-page File contains evidence that can be used to respond to affirmative cases that recommend that the United States federal government remove its tactical nuclear weapons (TNWs) from Turkey, such as the Turkey Affirmative File in the TFF Starter Set. This File contains evidence to respond to the major parts of this case, including arguments against the topicality, harms (and advantage areas), and solvency of the case. In addition to evidence on these issues, this File contains two disadvantages—the Turkey Nuclear Proliferation disadvantage and the US–Turkey relations disadvantage. These disadvantages are specific to the US removal of TNWs from Turkey. Two counterplans—Consult Turkey and TNW Modernization—are also included and may rely on the two previously mentioned disadvantages as net benefits.
